Porter and his wife Rosie of East Lynn, Roscoe Porter and wife Becky of Pickney, Mich., Delphine Parsons and husband Wayne of Washington, W.Va., Connie Adkins and husband Carroll of East Lynn, and Bonnie Mathis and husband Lonnie of Pickney, Mich.; uncle to many nieces and nephews; and loved by all.Charles was a wonderful man, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many. Jimbo was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed.Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Marcum officiating. Survivors include his parents, Eugene Adkins and Genevieve Marie Stephenson Adkins of Lavalette, W.Va.; his wife Terri Lynn Owens Adkins, of Wayne; three sons, Matthew Adkins and Aaron Adkins of Westerville, and Eric Cyrus of Wayne; one daughter, Erin Maynard and husband Jason of Summerville, S.C.; one grandson, Layne Maynard, of Summerville; and four sisters, Janice Tucker of Anderson, S.C., Deborah Adkins, Ruth Good and husband Tom, and Amanda Smith and husband Jeff, all of Lavalette. Also surviving are three daughters, Nancy Smith of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Brenda Rhon of Wayne, W.Va., and Ella Mae Mann of Vinton, Oh; five sons, Joe Phipps of Wayne, W.Va., Samuel Mann and his wife Teresa of Crumpler, NC, Robert Mann of Petoskey, Mich., Daryle Mann and James Mann both of Wayne, W.Va.; one special grandson, Christopher Keith Mann of Wayne, W.Va., and additional grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren too numerous to mention.
